I´ve just heard Lloyd´s soloproject Atlantic Popes...You people who have heard it, what do you think? Personally I think that this isn´t even close to what Lloyd does with AV.

I´ve heard all the songs from the website now, and I´m honestly not very impressed. Some of the sounds are ok, but the singer is not very good, he doesn´t even have 1% of the talent of Marian, and he really sounds like he doesn´t want to be there, kinda the same way as the singer of Devision, which is not very inspirational to listen to.

The website itself is great though - nice cartoons and idea, but that´s not enough for a band, is it? The best Flash music website I´ve ever seen is this one: http://www.the-control-group.com/ which has some amazing animations of the band.

we already know this song from DS and i think that Bernd did a good job on this one.

The site was good, but the songs wasn´t so much to be happy for...Bernd should stick to AV, it´s there his place is.

I don´t believe it! People are allowed to have different opinions. People are allowed to have different taste! But what you are writing here sounds very ignorant to me!! Have you really listend to the whole CD...especialy YOU AVIL? Earlier on you said
you don´t care about Atlantic Popes...so why are you so busy and negative about it? Sorry I´m a little bit angry<img src=icon_smile_angry.gif border=0 align=middle>
I have to admit the voice from Bernhard´s project sounds very different, but different doesn´t mean worse or better...in Germany there is a saying that you can´t compare apples and pears! For all of you who speak german: there is a rewiew in a german synth-pop-magazine http://www.re-flexion.de/reflexion.htm

Hey sorry of I´ve upset anyone, I didn´t mean it like that. Actually, when I heard that Marian was singing some backingvocals or something in one song, I decided to get this cd anyway. I´m absolutely NOT NEGATIVE about this.

It´great to be here, and hear your opinions!
I would love to hear more....
A short remark, to what you said so far:
While I was working on this project, I never came to the idea to compare the voices of Marian and Max. They are very different indeed. For me it´s a question of taste, not a question of quality. They are both fantastic in their range. And i´m happy that I could and can work with these 2 singers.
I would be glad to here more critics.

By the way, the sound samples on www.atlantipopes.de are of very low soundquality, but we decided to give you fast excess to the music...
Soundqualitywise I consider this production,
the best I´ve done so far.

Well, the sound samples were not enough for me...
Thats why i've decided to order the CD <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
But i was very impressed by the samples and the site (atlanticpopes.de) !
