New release: Over The Hills And Far Away
Released today on Alphaville's YouTube channel:
Incredible track. I like it more than Strauss' version in many regards. This one's more true to Alphaville's signature sound I think. Really nice track. Also: The whole "concert video" idea is clever and extremely well done. The whole "sepia" effect is awesome too. Great job on the video.

Nothing groundbreaking at first listen but some nices dark undertones touchs, like it. Best video with the last one for me, Marian & Maja are hilarious at that speed! Thank you AV team! (also for the repost on Moonbase of the very first image from alphavillenow) |

We're spoiled! Loved as much the song as the very creative video (I recognized sequences from the old movie Conquest Of The Air). This version of Over The Hills is way better than the very first studio draft; it would need an additional verse to avoid the repeat in the final part. 7Seven I now understand what you meant by 'funny', what a great idea to use archives to create a timeline. Lovely surprise again, I don't hate Mondays anymore
Many thanks to all ppl involved :) |

You‘re all welcome.
This time I struggled a lot with the video creation as the length of the sources requested more resources than my MacBook can offer. So it - especially the end - was partly created without live preview and just stills. But in the End the result was so much fun, with more irony than expected but also closer to the initial idea than we thought we would ever come with our resources in terms of time, tech and skill. |

Maybe you now understand my hint, though cryptic, a bit better :-)

A 'tiny' bit -the reference to Ivory Tower. About lyrics, I feel they are not definitive and could evolve, like some parts of Questions (compared to what you posted a few years ago, they changed a bit in the Mark V version).
