Been to the pub a few times during Easter. My parents are bad influences. [smile2]

Seems your family is a bit upside down ...

Happy belated Easter to all of you! [love2]

I was drunk too: Made egg liqueur myself, some bottles with brandy as basic alcohol and some with brown rum.
I had to taste both types while mixing and then I had to compare which one was better .

Well, just for the record: rum won. [smile2]

These things should be sampled! I did a lot of that while making chcolates for my parents.

As for my family being upside down, always has been. I sometimes feel like I have to tell them to slow down. You should have seen my mother back when they had the waterslide at the swimming pool. She's still sulking because they took it down during the renovation. I like my parents this way!

As for easter, we did our garden egg hunt, they have a big garden with lots of flowers and plants, Dad enjoyed hiding the eggs, chocolate rabbits and bugs where they'd take some finding. When you're a kid though you're not nursing a hangover while looking for a chocolate rabbit. [bunny] [drunk]

Well, I have further information for the record: It's always my dad asking for egg liqueur.
First it was a kind of christmas "tradition" that I started mixing it, then - after the first two or three years - my dad started asking me for more just after a couple of weeks ... So now it's christmas AND easter. How bad for him to have waited soooooo long this time for easter to come. [smile2]

My chocolate making started as a Christmas tradition too. [smile2]

These traditions are dangerous, very dangerous. They seem harmless but after a while they extend to industrial scale production ...

They do indeed. I have been known to be incredibly stressed before Christmas thinking that I don't have time to make 12 individual chocolate boxes (Oh yes, I make the boxes too) and get many of them posted. There are a couple of days that I believe I will never go near chocolate again. Soon get over that.

These are some of the chocolates that I made for Easter. They're uspposed to look like plant pots, with plants in them.
