DVD Documentary problems :(
The DVD Documentary that's with the remastered Forever Young box have some problems.
I read that several buyers have problems with it. I was right now looking at my copie and it did stop 23 minutes in and efter that I can't see anything. More that have problems I will check in my PC and other dvd-players... This sucks for sure..... |

Who did you purchase it from? I'm asking this so I can avoid the site before I buy it

Here is a review from a customer on Amazon. UK
We all know this is a classic album. It’s 5 stars but I’m reviewing the box set here. The CDs are magnificent as is the dvd documentary. The weak link here is Rhino vinyl pressing yet again. I had 2 copies both defective in exact same places. Track 1 side 1 and track 1 side 2. Both have super loud clicking that continue when the song starts, no amount of cleaning will remove it. It’s sad how little quality control is put into vinyl releases. Send it back to them I'm gliding in the distance and watch the world go by An orbit full of questions, a perforated sky |

My DVD won't play on my DVD player but I have yet to try it on the computer. I ripped disc one to my computer and several songs have skips....... not sure if I had something going on during the ripping or if there is a problem with the cd.......
well, what I could listen to was amazing........ I got mine from amazon.uk as well. |

No problem at all with mine, I watched it yesterday evening on my Blu-Ray Player

I was able to watch the documentary on my computer but half way through it skipped three different times...…… my biggest problem is that the last four tracks of the remastered album have skips. I cleaned off the cd and tried again only to have them still skip but in different places. I am thinking it is a defective cd. I got those four songs online and have versions without skips, but thinking I may need to return this box and get another...… will have to contact Amazon.uk now.

well, crazy......... the cd that skips when ripped to my computer plays flawlessly in my car......... oh well......... crazy! It all sounds so nice though..... they did a good job with the sound and it was nice to hear from Colin and Wolfgang in the DVD documentary! I love it how Forever Young was rescued by the very guy nobody really wanted hanging out in the studio!! LOL
