The CROG version is easily my least favorite AV track... The old demo versions, back when it was a rock track, beat the one heard on CROG by a country mile, at least to me...

I think this is a case of us hoping that the Song For No One demo appears later in a box set Dreamscapes style....... I don't mind the version in CROG but I very much agree that the live rock version was better.

Indeed. I know Shapeseven said the 2008 demo got released on Moonbase but I think he may have remembered incorrectly since I've found zero evidence to suggest it happened. It's a shame.
I will say: I love the Sebastian Komor mix of S4N1. It's what should've been on the album tbh... Less poppy, better vocals, better drums. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0jkq0MQa18c This one

I know that Sebastian has remixed several Alphaville tracks but was not aware that he remixed Song For No One........
