Well, it was a rough couple of weeks, but at least I'm finally pulling through. Just that cough that lingers...

Last Thursday, I thought I was in for it. The congestion made it hard to breathe, and the head and stomach were just out of whack. But the next day, things were starting to taper off nicely.

Tinnitus, I hate it. My ears always hurt on flights but yesterday wasn't especially bad. By the time I got home my left ear was really sore. Today it's not sore but my hearing isn't very good and the tinnitus has increased. Also feeling generally run down. After a two night (overnight bus) trip to London and this two night (in a rather nice hotel) trip to Berlin, I really ought to stay still for a while. My bank account is also telling me to do this. It's really boring but I will have to.

Going back to bed. The tinnitus had better have gone when my Alphaville CD arrives.

Regarding the stressful days that lay behind you to rest seems to be the best thing you could do. Get well soon!

(((((Clare))))) That's horrible. A few years ago I had a vertigo attack after some exciting holidays. I didn't have the time to enjoy the aftertaste of having had a great time because I felt like dying. ;(

It was awkward earlier. I had to phone the electricity company (I'm paying electricity for two homes and one has used a lot but I'm in credit and this one I'm owing although my heating is no longer electric.) I needed to sort that out but struggled to hear.

I then spent the afternoon listening to (mostly) Alphaville on Spotify between dozes and thinking that I should be in my garden.
