Forum Polls!

As you probably noticed, we now have internal polls in our forum. As for now, only the dreamkeepers can post polls in topics. If you have an idea for a poll send a private message to either wii, poul e or davidhorizon.

I´ve added a "new to the forum?" page. For everyone please read nr.4 before posting any new topics.

Trent, since the MSN Messenger doesn't have web-based status indicators (other than within MSN Messenger itself, or via Hotmail) or a way to send an IM without having MSN Messenger open, it's kinda impossible to add MSN to the forum.

As you can see we have a new featured poll online, all older polls will still be available. Later on I will collect them in one forum for easy access.

New Members List

I´ve added a new updated version of the members list, which now includes a search feature. It´s also now possible to send a private message from the members page, just click on the
PM icon

Hope you like it...

btw: You need to check of the boxes in the search feature at the members list to make it work.

also: We are now at almost 2000 private messages since I implemented this feature at the end of January - I´m glad people find this so useful.

Dreamroom Guidelines (please read)

Well, I had to write something about this, so here it is:

Also changed

I removed the "state" option in the members profile, since there were problems with the look in the topics below the members name if the "state" name was too long.

Private Messages (added functionality)

You can now send PMs to more than 1 Dreamer at the time, just separate the member name with a comma.

Someone asked if the PMs are really private. The answer is YES - not even the administrator (me) can read them, so go ahead and use them for you most personal conversations (at least I do).

More updates on the way...!

New Forum

Now we have a forum dedicated to all the polls at the Dreamroom, to make it easier to find polls and to vote at any time (if you haven´t already).

I moved all the topics from the "band" forum to "alphaville discussions".

Private Messages (added functionality)

Now you will see a message scrolling just under the forum logo when receiving a new private message. Hope you like it! For Netscape users the text will not scroll, since Netscape doesn´t support it (among many other things).
