Nostradamus
Where was this track meant to be? Or rather, what album was it intended to be on, if any? It was apparently recorded in 1993...

Oh, I know. I was more or less meaning, "Why was it created / what album was it meant to be featured on before being scrapped?". It's such an interesting track... I think it may have been a contender for that one album by Rainer Bloss (rest in peace!) named "Drive Inn III". Or maybe not...

It could actually fit in with Salvation. Maybe it was an out take from an earlier album. It also sounds like a movie soundtrack song ala The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo

Yes, I can agree with the Salvation theory, though I think Salvation's production started in 1995 (or MAYBE 1994 since it seems to be like Marian and the band would start work on the future albums almost immediately after releasing the previous one - just look at the earliest demos from AIU; a Dance With Me demo was made in 1985, just a year after FY's release!) Here's a preliminary track listing for Salvation which I dug up: 01 - Inside Out 02 - Monkey in the moon 03 - Night Guard (Guardian Angel) 04 - Wish You Were Dead! (Wishful Thinking) 05 - Flame 06 - Point of No Return (Point of Know Return) 07 - Control 08 - Dangerous Places 09 - Spirit of the Age 10 - Soul Messiah 11 - New Horizons 12 - Here By Your Side No mention of Nostradamus, but it has similar vibes to HBYS (almost the same singing style in both songs and maybe the same key even). I've already established what tracks may have been candidates for So Long, Celeste, though this topic isn't about that album so I won't mention it. lol |

On the topic of Salvation: I think that Giants was meant to be there as well since it was apparently recorded in 1996.
