Alphaville without Marian...or Bernd ?
I was just thinking...Would AV still be AV if for exemple Bernhard left the band, and there was only Marian left...(or the other side)? I mean, the one´s left would keep the name AV,but would it be the same?Personally I can´t imagine AV without both Marian and Bernd.

Honestly ? I don´t think it would make any difference. Marian does almost all the work anyway, and with the musicians from the liveband and others he could do fine by himself.

but it wouldnt feel the same...
i know what you're talking aout, Avil. it would be so strange to say : im a fan of alphaville when actually its only one person. to my opinion, AV in the studio and AV live are 2 seperate things. but you know what? to me AV always have and always will be Marian and Bernd. @ville - forever and ever. |

i dont know. marians "solo" stuff has a much different flavor than the alphaville stuff. there does seem to be a difference, but where does it come from?

I agree with you stardustdawn and Avil. Marian´s solo albums are not nearly as good as any Alphaville album (OK perhaps "TBB"). So Bernhard must have a big say in the final product.
But maybe Martin Lister can do the same job? |
