I am surprised some people are surprised it is not yet sold out.
A few numbers:
around 70 people on the chat the other day
around 90 people (yesterday's status) on FB, who said they'd be joining.
now FB is not everyone's darling, so let's double the number for those not on FB or who have not said they'd be joining.
let's double the number again, because everyone's bringing a partner or friend.
Then you end up at 90x2x2 = 360.
Aside from the core fans I would be surprised if the other tickes sell out in a few days to the public as the band is not that popular among commoners anymore.
Just a bit of maths with lots of assumptions, feel free to comment so I can finetune the calculation ;-)

There would be many more at the chat if I hadn't limited it.

There were about 700 unique visitors to The Dreamroom the day the event was announced, taking that into account and all the others from Facebook and the official site, the event should be sold out by now...

I know many who are not on Facebook and neither somewhere else in the web - but coming to the event...so it could not last very long getting sold out...and I know the first two persons, who are no AV-Fans, but coming to that thing because they saw it via fnac.fr....

My understanding was that there were 400 tickets, not 500, but I'm probably wrong. In that case though, assuming Leif's calculations hold weight, surely another 40 people in Paris would be interested? Even if it is 500, then 140 people is not a lot to ask. How many gigs with bands of international name do you know of with so few tickets for sale?

Before you judge me, make sure you're perfect.

Some may wait before buying the ticket. For Amnéville, I had to wait long before I got sure to go.

Whatever you do, never explain yourself : your friends don't need it, and your enemies won't believe you.

700? That's astonishing and great!

Means I'll be ready in case they do a second show ;-)
And no - this is just myself teasing - so don't you start any rumours ...

I guess they will open another date after the date 27/09 is sold out.

Maybe 26/09?
