Also I think it's perhaps time for Alphzville to put the cards on the table:

-In attempt for a Universal release date they could:

-Sharing the cover art
-Giving the tracklist
-Explaining of what we can expect for the new album (style of music, album theme, etc...)

Good idea no?

I agree with you but I would be pleased with just some info about why were
still waiting.

There is no official info at all about why we dont get the album,
If the album is more delayed tell us why!!
If not give us a release date even if its long time ahead

Diana had news on a show in august : the album is almost ready, but Universal didn't give a date yet.

Almost ready???

For an album that had been released at first in 2012, been almost ready three and an half year later let me perplex

personnaly i don't expect anything new from alphaville,there's a lot of good band actually who put their album out,i never heard that a record company can't determined a release date for an album and the worst that they refixed another date years after years,i don't know if i must laugh about the band's explanations or weep or to be in anger

I agree,we was told in Sep. 2012 that the album was ready for release that
it was just up to the record Company,well I dont Believe that only Universal is to blame for over 3 years delay...

Within the past years the band has faced some (sometimes painful) unexpected events, as you might have witnessed. This changes not only timings, this also might change the aspiration one has regarding his creative works. And this might cause you to question your work more than usual - you probably guess what kinds of questions might arise). This is no official statement (reality might differ) but my very own perception.

This has been a topic for the past year we've all been going back and forth about. We all can guess on what's taking the album so long to be released, but that still isn't going to help speed up the release date, unfortunately. We all are quite excited for the album, but since it's been delay after delay, well to be honest, I almost forgot there is a new album coming out. I understand Alphaville has been through so much within the past couple of years. Martins passing did put a huge impact on them. It was hard for us all. That is definitely understandable why there would be delays. Let's not forget though his passing was a year and a half ago. since then Alphaville has been touring. Usually, doesn't a band tour once the album is out? Isn't touring to promote the new album? The only thing we know now is just some of the new songs along with the the lyrics. In a way, it is a tease for us because we are all getting excited yet there's no news on the album release date. Of course, I'm not blaming AV..I never would. If anything, I'm more confused with the record company and the delays. I'm just almost trying to forget there is a new album "coming out." I don't want to get my hopes up and it gets delayed again.
