hey again,bernie.
i went to check the atlantic pope site..it was great..i dont know..im kind of ashamed of being some stupid in some places..like when i visited your site i didnt get anything.i clicked one of those things to the left..like "ice" for example..the thing is that i didnt see that "song loading" under the nice graphics.but then i pushed cd and saw all the names of the songs and i felt so embarrassed for myself when i realized that i've started to load a song. anyway,i think its a great project and a great site.the only bad thing lies in me and it is that i havent got a wordcard:(( oh,one more thing:thanx for making the synthchords so easy in forever young (when you first made the song)so even a bad one in keyboard playing as i can play them...without that me and some mates wouldnt be able to play it on a school concert this summer:)) thanx!! your defender |

Quite a while ago, someone on the e-mail list mentioned that the chords to Forever Young seemed reminiscent of Pachelbel's Canon. I wonder if it was the inspiration to Forever Young.

@stardustdawn, av_defender: right, the chords of forever young are as simple as it gets... as you might know, it was the first song Marian, Frank and me wrote together, the inspiration was "Torch" by Soft Cell,
Í´m ashamed, but I don´t know Pachelbel's Canon @av_defender: the onewordsongnames are confusing, aren´t they. the page is probably too simple and unusual...to be understood @@ddison: Thanks a lot @alpha-x: erdmann is an old friend of max, they wrote most of the songs together, years ago...I haven´t worked with him at all. @stardustdawn,delphia: very nice...I´m not at all religeous but for sure spiritual...with both feet on the ground. @delphia: "World" will be on that add-sampler. Good luck with your CD. @all: have FUN! +0:-) |

hi
well,i also thought that short namesongs are kind of confusing..specially if the songs are made by AV members.i fi compare these song names with the names of e.g the songs in afternoons in utopia, the songs in A N I U have mysterious names.but i find the ones on atlanticpopes as mysrerious as the rest of Alphaville, cause i havent heard the songs..yet by the way..how do you get those smilies??!! your defender |

this should be asked in "General Conversation", but click on the and choose between the smileys in the popup box - just click on the smiley you want to insert.

Well,well,well...
I got this eargerly awaited cd from the from Hot stuff (a bloody good service like usually). And hmmm Bernd,i just can say honestly that i like AP...good job, good lyrics, good music. I first thought about that: An Av project with another singer!!! No,no,no...it is different,it's damn good and i want to listen to it again and again...and again. Maybe the only negative point of my comment,is that sometimes,Max is just singing the same way with his low voice, and trying to go in the highest tone, but that is a different voice From Marian...and so i respect that. Good to hear some Av used melodies at the end of the cd,and HOOOO!!!! the french translation of Love and Ice is pretty funny (as i'm french...). So finally i want to say that This first album from The Popes is quite good, and it can only be better in the futur. Thanks again Bernd for another good piece of creamy cake... ...You can halt your car for an afternoon in Utopia... Syntetico |

I've yet to get the disk, but I will probably do so quite soon. I love the website! I have always loved the music, and I hope we get to hear it for a long time to come...
So far I love the dreamscapes 9ine songs I've heard... Moonboy is a favorite. S.M.I2.L.E! It makes people wonder what you're up to. |
