What's your favorite version of Carry Your Flag? - Alphaville Forum

I'll narrow it down to all CD versions thus far: Dreamscapes, CrazyShow, CROG, or the acoustic in the "Unplugged Medley" (SFNO single).

And how do you get the poll part started? I thought that would come up, but I forgot what you had to do.

I would vote for the dreamscapes version.....

i think that the DS version sounds too much like a demo(that's what it is)
the second version on dreamscapes is a bit too longer with a great part on guitar solo
the CRog version is pretty good except the oh oh oh during the song.
I wonder why they've not include the guitar solo in the CROG version!
but for me the cRog version is the best

For me it's the CS version. I liked the DS one a lot until I heard the guitars on the CS Carry your flag.

I went with the CS version here. Even with the long wait between verses and things, it's a really nice rendition.

My only beef with the CROG version is the odd chords en route to the second chorus. Just doesn't seem to fit that well.

Tough choice between DS and CS, but DS is first I heard and somehow its more close to me.
