Here they're vaccinating pregnant women and everyone is fine, so far. :) I don't think they're keeping track about the antibodies in newborn children, but I hope they test them in the public health services. I really don't understand those "personal freedom" arguments. It's a matter of evidence and good will to people around you. There are millions who have taken the vaccine and we're all doing alright. But there are thousands who have got the disease and keep suffering from its effects in their organs. It is clear by now it's not comparable to influenza, since COVID-19 attacks not only the lungs, but also the circulatory system, the kidneys, the pancreas... Some of my neigbours, friends and acquaintances have died and many are struggling with long-COVID symptoms. It's not nice. :( |
