My least favourites are Afternoons in Utopia and Salvation. I love Breathtaking Blue and Prostitute.

Then there's the funny "problem" with Alphaville that SA took so long to put together, there are songs on it that have existed and been performed live for years, bridging major changes in the band's lineup. This makes it hard to say that SA is somehow an unexpected change in direction, when really it's been simmering for quite some time.

Andrew brings up some very good points considering the time it took to release this album and all the obstacles faced along the way. That said, time for my take on the album at last:

If we could call any of their music "art," consider SA a Masterpiece! The fact that they still mix up the sound here and there keeps things fresh, and there are a lot of great tunes on here.

Personal favorite: Around the Universe
The one that took time to grow on me: Beyond the Laughing Sky

Mind you, I tend to look at their selections as finding the "like it" among the "love it's." Despite the delays and changes that had to be made, they turned out a fantastic compilation!

Hello, my friend...

Is this in order? 21 songs? One of the longest AV gigs ever? Setlist does seem odd. 7 tracks from SA are grouped together.

I don't know why, but I've really gotten to like Fever! a lot. It's so catchy.

Fever, Marionnettes with halo... almost all sounds great to me. Maybe a little bit less for Sexyland.

Whatever you do, never explain yourself : your friends don't need it, and your enemies won't believe you.
