I would say, don't stay home (not if there's a party!) but do listen to Alphaville!

This topic fits my mood at the minute. I am unemployed again, after giving up my temp job because it was driving me mad. So I have no money, and the thought of working in the future scares me.
I'm beginning to think that I'll never have a job that doesn't make me sick with nerves. I don't know what to do now. This doesn't fit in the work topic really because it's me that's the problem. ....it was them what drove me to drink!" [drunk] Grandad, Only Fools and Horses (UK sitcom) |

Stay positive Clare - we're all behind you and always there for you to bark at should you feel the need. You will get to where you want to be, have faith in yourself.
Don't even wanna start on about my probs - divorce, work etc. Too much to contemplate, so I say bugger off to the lot of 'em and I know it'll all work out in the end...one day... Bad karma?? God, I must have been Genghis Khan in a previous life... |

If it's about karma, then it is completely my topic... Also because I have to study about karma now... [smile2] Though if bad karma really exists, then it completely attacked me this week... Next week comes that goddamned entrance exam for me, and I MUST study for that... but at the same time I must look after our kids, who seem to feel that now I'm much more nervous than the usual and they ALWAYS drive me mad every single day by being nasty and disobedient... And in the other hand I can study only if they are sleeping, but they usually don't sleep after lunch, only in the evening, but in the evening I'm completely tired and knocked out... And on the top of it, today my husband woke up and had an epileptic attack almost immediately... he's been suffering from epilepsy since his teen ages, and though - thank God - he doesn't have attacks too often, but whenever he has that always shocks me... I should study, but you can imagine that in this mood and in this state I have absolutely no energy for studying... [cry] My God, I must do it somehow... I must have bad Karma this week too. I have a leak of some kind in my bathroom, it's a large circular area in the middle of the floor and it won't go away. I told my landlord, and he came and had a look at the tiles below the carpet, but there's no rhyme or reason to it. No source for the leak. Meanwhile I have to roll up my trousers everytime I go in. The garage below does not have water coming through its ceiling.

Been reading a lot about Karma recently, as I have an interest in spiritualism. I like the idea that we choose the routes that our lives take before we are born, to learn relevant lessons. In some cases lessons that we failed to learn in a previous life. This idea confirms that people who have difficult lives have chosen to grow and learn, rather than being sinners in a previous life.

@ Clare
I'm glad to know that about Karma. I always said I was an eternal student... |
