I don´t know what to say, it´s really nice to hear that someone appricates the things I write.

I have some melodies for the songs, but time is something I don´t have. But I will make songs of some of them...someday.

I will put a new song online within a couple of weeks... It will be called something like The bleeding tree but I haven´t decided yet. In fact, it isn´t finished yet.

Avil.... your poems are very good! When I look at the poems I was writing when I was your age..... they don't compare at all...... keep writing.... you are only going to get better and better!

not really! there are a few good ones, but most of them from my teenage years are horrible!

i cant udrestand how you'd look like a fool if you'd put those up for others at the mailinglist.
your lyrics are thousands of times better than mine,they have a sense and they dont jump from event to event..
take the chance,you have the ball,so throw it!!

Defender is right Avil - you won't look like a fool! You are better than you think... but that is a problem a lot of us poets have... we are our own worst critics! As if we could decide who will like and not like our poems.... who are we to decide who will be touched and moved and who will be repulsed by our work???

You have to believe in yourself - you are good enough, smart enough, and dog gone it... people like you!

The bleeding tree

A evil icy sound freezing on my soul of fire
Chasing me into the everlasting darkness
Closing me in, until the very last sound is gone
I´m awaiting the doom
The moment where you don´t see night nor day
A moment of terror and love
a moment to cry and laugh
A moment when one and two and thousands of millions stars will release themselves
and fall

I cry this tears of blood
let them fall forever
Let them float through the river of all my sorrow, and all my joy
Let them meet in the ocean of death and life
A glimbse of light in the darkness
is when you see the bleeding tree smile

Every light throws a shadow
