Different masterings? - Alphaville Forum

Do you notice or collect CDs with different mastering. Some of these just have slight EQ differences.
As far as I am aware the same mastering was used for all editions of FY, but some later German pressings increased the volume on Victory of Love. The US and DE pressings are the same.
For AIU, the US sounds more flat than the EU/DE CD.
There is of course differences between the US and DE versions of BB as the mix of Romeos is different.
All other AV albums from this point appear to have the same mastering regardless of country of origin.
