Jon and Vangelis
This is music I really find magical. The Friends of Mr. Cairo is an amazing album! They also seem to have some of the fascination with classic films as seen in some of the lyrical allusions in AV's music.
Pretty different style for Jon Anderson in comparison with his work with Yes, which has it's merits, but personally I prefer Jon with Vangelis. The future exists, first in Imagination, then in Will, then in Reality. |

I agree. Being a HUGE fan of Vangelis, I've never come to fully appreciate Jon & Vangelis. Im not to crazy about Jon Andersons voice either. I do however have 2 of their albums, and they are actually quite good.

yes it took me a long time to get used to Jon Anderson's voice. It sort of throws you for a loop!
