Self Control?

Hidiho!
I just wondered that has AV made a cover on Laura Branigan's "Self Control"? There's a version of it that I happen to have on tape, and I like it far better than the original, and the singer sounds a bit like Marian, and this was just enough to make me wonder...
Does anyone know...please...?

Haven`t you heard Laura Branigan singing "Forever Young"? Yesterday I found that song in the internet <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> and that was...okey...that was good.

It could be the version by Raff. I donīt think itīs better than Laura Braniganīs version though. And Iīm quite sure that Marian/Alphaville never made a version of "Self Control".

Thatīs certainly a question of taste. I think that the Raff version is more amateurishly done. The singer doesnīt sing English too well. The way he sings "Self countroel" really irritate me. And for me the Laura Branigan version has a lot more "power"!

Well...everyone's got their own way to sing, it's just part of his personality... and Laura sings a bit strangely I think, for example the part; "I know the night is not as you would see"....Raff sings it much more smoothly, he phrases that sentence a little longer and it sounds better and softer... but that's just my opinion, I've never been much of a Laura Branigan-fan...

Isnīt it: "the night is not as it would seem"?

But anyway Micki, I like Laura Branigan better and you like Raff better. Itīs just a matter of taste.
