I stopped listening to the album a long time ago... it's not all that memorable unfortunately.

I was trying hard to figure out the most appropriate explanation of my feelings about CROG...Now, I´ve got it - I feel deceived...Actually, the best thing about CROG is that I do not have to spend my time waiting with the highest expectations for its release anymore. Being a devoted AV fan for the past 24 years I´m very sorry to say that the result of such waiting was rather frustrating.

I came to see CROG as a decent pop album. Sometimes I listen to some songs from it (not too often though), and sometimes one song or two actually manage to touch me a bit, to evoke some mood in me. Mostly, the whole album just leaves me cold.

But therefore, I rediscover Dreamscapes and marvel at AV's former glory.

I prefer to dance to my own beat
I prefer to sing my own song
I prefer to live - do you wanna come along?

It makes perfect music for jogging and work out, since it has perfect rythm for sport. And since I practically love the whole album I can just put it on when I start running. I still like it, and still listen to it pretty much. If something, I've maybe gotten little bit bored on first half of the album, but on the other hand the other half still keeps fascinating me.

I Still don't usually skip any songs, but listen whole set through.

A part of me loves the album, another part hates it...
Never gave an AV album me so mixed feelings.

I still listen to the album too...

we knew where we came from... we were the music... (с)
Beauty is not a need but an ecstasy. It is not the image you would see nor the song you would hear,
But rather an image you see though you close your eyes and a song you hear though you shut your ears. (Khalil Gibran)

Song for no one - Most outstanding song on the album, my favourite at the moment. I like the lyrics and the groovy, relaxed sound
I die for you today - this is typical 80s' Alphaville just with a modern sound. Cool, really cool.
End of the world - kind of rebellious song, as if a gang of demonstrators sings it ;)
Things I didn't do - Jet Set Part II :D
Things we've got to do - Just a wonderful song to dream, love it, my second favourite of the album, reminds me of some Roxette ballads ;)
The Deep - epic but ordinary... I like it but I like most of the other songs more
Call me - the 80s are back, cool sound, reminds me of the German band Wolfsheim oder Bag Raiders, this is my third favourite... I love the synthie sound, my fav style of music
Gravitation Breakdown - Cool, fast, party song.
Carry your flag - Nice. That's it. Not more, not less.
Call me down - Don't know why but this is Depeche Mode to me. Marian doesn't even sound like Marian but more like Dave Gahan.
Phantoms - One of the weaker songs on the album though I like it. It is kind of mainstream, could imagine it being in the charts.
Miracle Healing - Weakest song on the album, but I like also this one.
This is scary, there is absolutely no song I dislike!
