@Clare: I've never been there, but for what I know I think you will love the food and the weather.
@Nicole: I was in Berlin and Leipzig. Leipzig will always be a special place to me, but Berlin is an amazing city --big, energetic, full of life and full of history. I would love to visit Cologne and Hamburg sometime in the future too. :D |

Berlin is very interesting and worth a trip. I agree on Leipzig, I really like this city!
In Cologne only the dome is impressive (it really is!), the city itself is ugly in my oppinion. The only reason (besides the dome) to visit Cologne is that really, really lovely city nearby in the south which I love for more than 23 years and which I am proud to call my adopted home. The most beautiful city in Germany is Hamburg imo. |

@Ana: I might change Cologne for Dresden then.

Noooo I love Cologne! Augsburg in the south is worth a visit too. I'm biased as I lived there for some time. Nicole I hope you get the chance to visit and I hope that you meet lots of fans. Often there's an international fan gathering.

I would love that so much! I've been wanting to attend an AV concert and have the opportunity to meet you all some day. I also have been wanting to visit Germany, so hopefully one day I'll get that chance!

I knew that you would protest.
Cologne has a nice and laid-back atmosphere. I guess that's why people love the city. But from a touristic point of view it's not that attractive. Btw there are revalries between Düsseldorf and Köln and between Dresden and Leipzig. In both cases I prefer the latter. |
