Luka Bloom
A bit different from most of artists who get attention here, also away from my usual musical intrest (aville-depmode...) but nevertheless one of my favourite artists is Luka Bloom.
He is a really amasing acoustic performer and makes lovely music. Live, alone on stage together with 3 guitars, he sets everyone on fire! Best albums in my opinion are his debut Riverside, album Turf and his cover album Keeper of the flame. Anyone familiar with his music? |

Purely guitar based, with slight Irish folk influences.
Live he only plays solo acoustic guitar : one word : extraordinary |

well, I love irish music, but usually guitar-based stuff really don't speak to me...but I'll give it a shot!

Yes indeed, he covered This is the Sea and also used a Mike Scott written song Sunny Sailor Boy.
Both great versions, especially the second live. |
