Marian sounds kinda like Morten Harket/Simon Le Bon mix nowadays with this high pitched vocal. What's more, it reminds Paper Gods by DD for me, but I'm writing this after hearing a 30 sec piece so I might be wrong.
But the chorus is great!!!

I'll say this much, he still has that vocal range!

Getting mine! Though I was surprised that the mp3 transaction couldn't go through, something about...
"We were unable to process your purchase with your current payment information. Your payment method must be issued by a bank local to the Amazon.co.uk marketplace"

Uhhh, what? I was ordering off .de.

Well, at least the CD transaction went through for me.

Hello, my friend...

Will the album be available for me on iTunes in the U.S. on the release date? I remember CROG wasnt available until several months later after the release date. Hope it won't be the same for this album.

We will probably have to wait at least a month in North America before the album is available.

That's what I was afraid of that. Maybe Alphaville will post some of the new songs on their YouTube channel, hopefully.

Just listened to the snippets of Strange Attractor that can be found in online stores now...man, this promises to be a real milestone, a bold, versatile, experimental, innovative, edgy and beautiful album! Whil CROG was mostly a retro-effort, this will show everyone that Alphaville is not just another 80s synthpop band, but standout artists who create and expand their own universe. Can't wait!!

I prefer to walk with my own feet
I prefer to dance to my own beat
I prefer to sing my own song
I prefer to live - do you wanna come along?

And finally ...
updates at universal-music.de (both on the first page and in their news section, both on the single/video and the upcoming album).

Mmmm....is it because of the low-res audio clips???? Not very convinced yet unfortunately. Handful and Around are my favourites ever. But this synth sound lacks something: thin, drum computers en too much uptime. The beauty, depth and emotions are lost somewhat in this mix. Hope it sounds better on the final cd, but I am afraid that this is the 'new' AV sound. A pity for those beautiful songs....
