I love Randy Bush's voice on SLAM, and some tracks from We Heard The Call are very, very good, like Moonbeam, Go! or Antilles.

I have always liked the B-Charme cover of Forever Young. There are a few others but I don't remember them at the moment.
An interesting, technically good but not emotionally good cover is the Marshall and Alexander cover of The Impossible Dream. |

When it comes to FY covers, Branigan could not be beat.
One thing, though. I wish I could have caught who had redone it recently. There was an ad for a series of shows on E!--one of our cable networks--and another band covered it for the occasion. And a fine time it was for me not to have my glasses on so I could see it... Maybe I'd better do a search. Excuse me a moment... |
