Moving is probably not going to happen. As I'm not qualified in that job I'd go in at the lowest grade which is two pay grades lower than I am now and also at the lowest end of that grade (it increases in increments each year so I'm higher in my own grade's points). If it was in my home town I'd take the challenge but buying a flat would take all my savings and I'd be unable to save. It would be about 7,000 per year less.

Ouch, yes, it's a big amount less.

It all feels a bit hopeless at the minute.

I'm sorry Clare. There is something better out there for you. Please just stay strong and we all will be thinking of you.

Well, I'm not sure if I shared this or not, but several months ago, my district manager promoted me to an assistant manager for Halloween City. Party City owns that company. Anyways, for the month of October, which is our busiest time of the year, I was over at Halloween City. I opened and closed the store, was in charge of counting the registers, safe, etc. it was a wonderful experience and I got to work with such amazing people. Anyways, a few days ago, I returned to my Party City store and I'm back as a Front End Supervisor. I am happy I'm back, but the store manager has been giving all the other managers a hard time about things. This has been going since I started there, which was about 4 years ago. In a way, I wish Halloween City was a permanent store so I can stay there and manage rather than deal with my store manager.

In our time, and the work is always money ..... ...... But this consequence. It is important to have the confidence and courage, when you open the door to the office desktop or enterprise, where you are waiting for a sympathetic .....- Exercise your mind, restraint and distance with colleagues, giving them their sympathy in response ....

@Nicole: That sounds good as a new experience. Knowing that one is more capable is always satisfying. Have patience, I think you'll be promoted as soon as there is a chance... in the meantime you might try applying for higher-rank jobs and see how you do.

@Clare: There are moments when everything crumbles down, but there is some opportunity in the end. Stay strong. (((Clare)))

It was a wonderful experience and I'd love to move up in the company. No positions are open at my location right now, but hopefully in the future there will be a position opening up soon! Thanks for the positive!!
