I chose Nevermore, and then Around the Universe and Handful of Darkness.

Mafia Island all the way because it is one of the grandest productions Alphaville have ever done. Period.

And, since there is multiple choice, Nevermore because it may just be THE perfect uptempo pop/rock-song: effortlessley blending very different genres, boasting amazing lyrics and vocal performance, teasing the listener with various unexpected turns and details...all with a production that is simply sublime.

A Handful Of Darkness

Te raconter enfin qu'il faut aimer la vie et l'aimer même si je suis fatigué du mensonge et de la vérité que je croyais si belle, que je voulais aimer et qui est si cruelle que je m'y suis brulé ... .

Yeah, no doubt Handful of Darkness is BY FAR the best song of the album, as the poll shows and what I heard from the first time I heard the album. Alphaville as it should be :)

My favorite track is not featured on the poll list : HBC MMXII.5, same lyrics but a totally different song, just like the Soul Messiah album version vs the single version. The synth melody brings you back to the early years of the band, pretty much Franck Mertens' style.

Why people like the vinyl version of ATU is beyond me. It's beyond awful. The music is great... However: The vocal track is laced with auto-tune! It's butchered. It'd be great if the vinyl version could be re-released, but with the vocal tracks swapped out.
