I can't believe this...I was FINALLY feeling better over the weekend, but woke up today with the cough back tenfold and my throat aching - had to call in sick again

. Right now I am just waiting for a doctor's office to open...I don't think I am going to get better without help. This is day 8....

I just realised I lost my voice again. Couldn't answer the phone....

So I went to the doctor, and last week's flu developed into bronchitis. I have some medicine to make it get better, but am not allowed to return to work until Thursday, and only if I am feeling completely better. Otherwise I need to return to the doctor. I'm glad though...I think FINALLY I will start a true recovery! Now I promise not to complain any more

, but thanks so much for everyone's kind wishes.

Sidenote, I think maybe my Deutsch is improving! I was able to explain to the doctor what was wrong with me auf Deutsch and could understand almost everything she said back to me.

@Mags: you should find a better way to avoid going to work... getting sick is a dangerous method
