Some of the bands you mention I haven't heard of. I'll check them out. Hubert Kah strangely enough I DO have an album of. Bought it in Berlin; saw him on Formel Eins in the eighties so it felt like full circle running across the album in Berlin haha.

I think you will love a lot of the Australian 80's Martijn :) There was an awesome show called Countdown where all the bands would perform live, we also had shows like Sounds, MTV in the late 80's.... Though I am only 30 so I was only little when all of this was going on :) I loved it all :)

Me too. Although not everything. But even Alphaville has some songs that I don't like. But so what, even Marian has that so I guess it's ok.

Yes I agree Martijn :) Yes I have never really liked mainstream bands, but bands with a bit of edgy magic to them.... There is so much good music, but there is also a lot of boring music too :D

My vinyl collection varies from Tangerine Dream, Mike Oldfield, Jean Michel Jarre allllll the way to the German bands mentioned, then to my Australian favourite bands, then onto ambient, even a bit of metal lol ;)

I completely agree Martijn :D you have to sift through a lot of shite to get to the good stuff :) I am not a fan of modern music..... It's like a completely different world of noise these days

Jean Michael Jarre's Equinox was one of my first records when it was released in 1978. I was eight and drove my mother insane with it. Bought the cd only months ago and listened to it for the first time in decades. You've got a very similar taste for music. Very funny.
