Forever! Best of 40 Years CD - Alphaville Forum

Dear forum,

I just saw the track listing of the album Forever! due for release this coming September.

The tracks have been voted by us the fans, but I think it misses the songs which should have been there. My preferences are:

- Euphoria
- Soul Messiah (the demo version is actually better)
- Pandora's Lullaby
- Around the Universe
- Beyond the Laughing Sky

I'd also rather see no duplication of song versions like Sounds Like a Melody and Dance With, and swap them with the tracks above, recognizing 40 is the maximum number. But this is just my humble opinion.

What do you guys think?

I would have wanted a new album instead,
that should have been a great anniversary

hajak, everyone wants that, but please let's stick to the topic

I actually think, that this setlist is great, and I'm really looking forward to the remastering versions.
Of course, there's something missing here, but this compliation is for us the true fans, and for everyone else, new fans, it's a balance, and I respect that.

The LP version is 13 songs,I know that taste is
different but in my opinion

are not good enough and could have been left out
I am missing:
The Jet set
Call me
Around the universe
A handful of darkness
Phantoms
Wishful thinking
Fallen angel
Soul Messiah
Romeos
