I really really hope it would be the last chance to bring the boys to Israel during the tour of the new album...........
They have a really big crowd 80's fans who would love to see them !!!!!!!

All depends on getting a good deal with a record company......
but i have a feeling that by now AV are also anxious to release the album.......

I have to admit that I think it's extremely important for Marian that he is still in charge regardless which record company they might find! If AV hadn't abandoned the deal with WEA we would now have digitally remastered copies of FY and AIU with bonus tracks and the new album would either already be out or at the least very close to a release.....I'm certain of that!

That's true Poul, sadly we don't always get in live what we want...

oh God, I would have killed for those remastered copies!!!

First thing I will ask Marian next time I meet him is about WEA. Why was the deal dropped ?

If MG decided not to sign there, he will have had considerable reasons. Why should we hang on to
WEA just like "If it only had been possible, we would have this and that now..."?
That company is neither the same as 11 years nor as 24 years ago. So the business.
Nobody, I say nobody, knows what WEA would have done with AV in the future (fine promotion work
or not).

And I assume, if AV will release the new album, there will be a remastered backcatalogue anyway -
published by WEA or maybe even someone else...

I don't who will be the record company, as long they respect the artist and his and bring out damn good cd's!

Wasn't the conflict that WEA wanted to release some old stuff before the new album and Marian wanted to release the new album first??? That's why I wrote what I did anyway....
