But I think that's where he's heading for: That he will be seen just as the media for the songs. He said quite often recently that he does not like it when the songs are reduced on his/his voice and that he wants go go more in the instrumental direction like On the Beach. He HAS a fantastic voice and he IS a fascinating person but I think he fears that when he will become older and his voice might become weaker the fans will leave him as they never really loved his music but just only him. So I think he's wish that we keep on loving the MUSIC HE makes.

Yes, Romeo you just wrote what I have always thought. But Marian should know that we'll never leave him because we love him even for the music and my feeling is that his voice is just getting more beautiful whith time.

really it would be foolish to leave Alphaville and their music just because they are getting older,and Marians voice is getting weaker...i mean the biggest reason to why we are all here is because we believe in our dreams and the dreams the music of AV has made us.so why would we leave the makers of our dreams just because they couldnt keep the promise about eternal life,or was there ever a promise in Forever Young?although its just the body that grows older,but the inside is still the same.
