Andy can be dark : ) Just listen to Crown of Thorns from the Wild! album. I really like that song.
The reason I got into Erasure was because of Star. And well, I saw their concert that year (1989) and I thought that they were absolutely CRAZY and hilarious. Andy and his pet snail Brian..hehe.. Andy and Vince have a really good sense of humour. That's what I like about them. Tara : ) |

Andy Bell has a great voice! He can sing very deep/dark as in fx. "You surround me" and "Crown of thorns" and very high/light as in "God rest ye merry gentlemen". Incredible!!

Like some said here before was Erasure better in the 80's....but i like the song Always from the 90's....and the Trance Dance Mix from that song is even better. :)

Avil - do you have any of Erasure's albums?
You Surround me is from Wild! I strongly suggest you pick it up if you don't have it. I really really love that album. Star is the song that got me into Erasure. Can you accept big files on one of your e-mail accounts Avil? I have lots of You Surround Me mixes : ) Tara |
