Many thanks HalfNelson for the technical hints -where is the Thumb Up smiley when I need it- , I now realise VLC can't retrieve the metadata lyrics; I ran Tempelhof thru Mp3Tag and found out that the lyrics provided are partly... wrong! Or were the draft lyrics, who knows :)
I will check the other files later.
