I met the promoter in Burbank and he said that even though interest was piqued, not enough response from radio stations resulted in a fire sale of tickets for this particular show - resulting in an attendance of over 4,000 ppl at the Starlight Bowl!

The shame of it was when 40-50% emptied out of the venue and headed home after "Forever Young"; it seems that it was the only song everyone stayed to hear (and FY was pretty much the middle of the set list).

So, I really should check this site more often. I didn't find out about the U.S. tour until a couple of days after the New York and Chicago shows. I live near Toronto, Canada, and easily could have driven to either location. [banghead]

There ain't no band in this universe I'd spend one or the other amount like that for. Not even if John and George would resurrect...
