S080S - Alphaville release with 12" & B-sides
 

Dear friends!

This year we are celebrating Alphaville's 30th Anniversary with a super special release. For the first time ever all 80s 12" versions and b-sides, remastered from the original master tapes are assembled on one double-album. In addition, a 36-page-booklet features all original record artworks, private archive photos and track by track annotations. The project was realised over the past 3 years in close collaboration with Blank & Jones and we are absolutely excited about the result:

In less than 24 hours after the announcement of the new "so8os pres. Alphaville" release, it conquers the No.1 position of the overall sales charts at JPC. [wink]

Finally, my dream comes true[jump2]

I ordered it immediately yesterday after I saw the wonderful "items" [smile2]

And it's just magic to have all this version remastered from the original master tape on a double cd, but still, there is 5 songs missing ...
BIJ, SLAM (single version), FY (fast single version) & the dub mix from Red Rose & Sensations [captain]

Jet Set single's version is on the best of - first harvest 1984-92 [smileg]

Alas, no on "Jet Set" single version. :( The version on First Harvest was remixed to give it more of a '90s percussion sound. The drum beat's totally different and kinda weird. Check out the original Jet Set video (youtube) then compare that to the First Harvest mix and you'll be sad too.

If I'm not mistaken, there's 3BIJ, and FY dance version.

There's 4 BIJ in 1984 : Album version, Maxi single ((Extended Re-Mix), Dub Mix (Extended Instrumental Mix) & the single version who's different from the album version and not included on this cd
There's 3 SLAM : Album Version, Maxi Single (Special Long Version) & the single version who's different from the album version and not included on this cd
There's 3 FY : Album Version, Maxi Single (Special Dance Version) & on the french single version, there's a disco version who have the same speed at the maxi single but short like the album version and it is not included on this cd

Do you guys happen to have clean-sounding, high quality copies of the 7" versions of Jet Set and Sounds Like a Melody? I own the vinyl releases but mine are pretty crackly unfortunately.
