I have to see how Brexit is looking. If the UK falls off a cliff edge I could be trapped in the EU as an illegal non EU citizen.

if I didn't have cats I'd give it a go.

I'll be trapped here as an illegal whether I go or not. Me as an illegal immigrant. Who'd a thunk it?

Crossing borders while British could become a risk. I really want to go to Berlin and part of me thinks it would be interesting to be stranded..... however I have the cats to get back for.

If good sense returns to this septic Isle, I shall go.

Honestly, Clare, even with a hard Brexit you‘re surely neither at risk to be imprisoned on the island nor to be refused to cross the border in any direction. If I were you, I would do the trip.

It's the date that's worrying, Tobi. She would leave the UK under free movement rules one day (before the 29th) and become an illegal overnight on the next day (29th) without knowing her rights and the rules for travelling after that under the current arrangements. They've leaving it extremely late to decide on anything at the moment.

As for me, I'm just fucked.
