oh, few years ago back in germany:
- in a doctors waiting room - SLAM - in my fav. pizzeria in chemnitz waiting for my take-a-way pizza with Martin (what a strange moment... he just said "pssst") - SLAM - once in the car with Kerstin (05/2000 from berlin to hamburg) we both had the same thoughts at the same second "AV on radio would be great " and the next second BIJ started... *scream* |
Oh! when AV comes on the radio right after you think it is a right time for it to come it's great!

On a x-mass market!

At McDonald's.

In a traffic jam.
A couple of hours ago I was stuck in a traffic jam generated by a huge puddle in a big avenue, and the guy in the van beside me was listening to BIJ very loud. At least the fear that I might not be able to drive through the puddle without the car's engine turning off was somehow mitigated. [smile] |
I heard FY at a Barnes & Noble bookstore a couple of years ago. That location's PA system plays a bunch of '80s tunes.
My kind of place! [smile2] |
Last week I saw a TV commercial advertising a popular local radio station that played 80's hits and there was a clip from Forever Young lasting only a few seconds. (sigh) It has been so very long since I have seen an AV tune on the tube. (sigh)

Never in my life i have seen or heard an av song on tv or radio. Ok.. Napoleon Dynamite on ABC once, but it is one of the dumbest movies ever.

There was an ad for Saturn Ion cars some time ago that used FY as well. It was for a graduation-themed ad.
The one big gripe I had with this was about how poorly edited the song was. |
