How often do you hear AV on the radio ?

I voted weekly - I hear AV a couple of times a week on the radio, mostly forever young, sometimes big in japan.

i voted monthly, heard FY as soon as yestoday, but i dont listen to radio that much. preafere cd's

I usually listen to the radio around noon - on my way back from college or on my way to work and there is a 70's-80's show.
The guy plays SLAM, AVOL, BIJ...

Voted never, cos I never do.

it´s just crazy, since last week they play every day on Berlin Radio RS 2 Dance with me in the Forever Pop-Version (guess one of the guys there must have a ticket to the party) [laugh]

Monthly here. BIJ or FY, but never Sounds Like a Melody.

I voted weekly, because I don't listen to the radio enough to state that they play AV daily; but it's very often that I hear BIJ and FY... There was also a time (about 8-9 years ago) when they played FY Special Extended Mix a lot.

Depends on radio station... I voted weekly, because I'm not sure that they play it daily... though my fave radio station plays AV more than once a week for sure but I don't listen to the radio that often...

I don't like listening to the radio at all, but when I do I listen to my fave station. [smile]

I chose monthly cause they either play BIJ or FY. I think they should be playing such songs as "A victory of love" and "Summer in Berlin" and "Dance with me" and "Universal Daddy"!!! But no, they have too keep playing BIJ and FY!!!

I once heard AVOL on the radio..... DWM was played here quite often along with BIJ, FY and SLAM...

I was in a cab in Berlin and DWM was on the radio [smile]

I don't listen to radio anymore, but earlier I heard them weakly. Now, I would say not more than a couple of times every second month or something.

If I listened to radio I guess I would hear them monthly.

well, never is as about as close as it gets here in Tennessee, although I heard them several times a year in Washington State.....but then again, I don't listen to the radio that much anymore.

I almost never listen to the radio so my vote probably isn't very fair. I voted 'yearly'. It's probably closer to 2 or 3 times a year, though. hrmm I did hear AV on the radio in April this year but that was because I requested it. :p

Stil not found a descent answer.... Maybe I needed an option 'not enough'?

When I lived in Utah I heard AV several times a week at least on my fave station....but since I moved to Berlin I hardly ever hear them. Just a week or so ago I heard FY and was astonished by it though. Of course I don't listen to the radio much, and I could just be listening to the wrong station......

Yes I can hear AV here from time to time (no enough to be true) but always the same songs...

I remember the last time I heard them in a wharehouse... My mother told me that I look like a small child that received a toy so happy that I was to hear BIJ!

I've been told that Flame was once on a french radio, but never heard it though here. And you ?

The only time I heard Alphaville on UK radio was during the 80s and 90s and more recently when I used to request BIJ and FY on my local radio. Usually, if anything's played, it's BIJ but, nowadays, that's hardly ever so I voted never cos if it's ever played, I never hear it.

The radio stations love to milk the sam songs over and over....like FY and BIJ, even though those alphaville songs are not the greatest thay have, they just wont settle for anything else, that is different...like A Victory Of Love, and Summer In Berlin, and Universal Daddy!!

I voted yearly... because you never hear AV on the radio anymore in the States. Unless you request it and get lucky, like Amber. Or if you happen to live in Salt Lake City, Utah where they are still fascinated with 80's music.
At least, that's my experience.

i rarely listen to the radio, but last time i heard av was about 3 months ago- it was fy. truthfully, i prefer to listen to my cds- no commercials to worry about.....lol

I hear them all the time on the radio in Berlin now...one station plays tons of 80s. But no new Alphaville...

Listen to TV and radio all the time and STILL not heard any Alphaville...maybe I'm living in the wrong country...

Fot that alone I should consider moving!

It really seems like two, three stations around here changed their playlists and put
up FY, BIJ and SLAM (even that longer maxi version), because last week I got that stuff
in my car radio far more often than whole last year [laugh]

Was listening to SWR 3 the other day and they played BIJ!! First time I've heard AV on the radio since I moved to Germany!

As an aside, twice last week, while out for a drink in in two different pubs, I heard BIJ in one and FY in another! Maybe it's that time of year or something...
