i read some entries of the atlanticpopes guestbook, and i got stucked on one written like this:"eure musik ist echt scheisse"(= your music is real shit)
i mean..just because the internet is quite anonumous to everyone,they dont have to drop such comments!!!
ok the comment was short,but it struck my inside like a knife in my chest...not that it was a negative opinion,i mean folks can think what they want, but using other words than "this is shit".
im sure that it wouldnt hurt as much to read that someone doesnt like AP's music if the feeling of why this person didnt like the music could be expressed..
but in the way it was written gave me a thought that there is no specific feeling at all,just a heart of stone hiding behind that stupid line..grr

yeah I suppose that is true. My oppinion is that you may say that this or that sucks, but if you want to do it, tell me why

Some people have written stuff like that in the alphaville.org guestbook as well, but I can delete/edit every entry, as soon as I see it - I do check every day.

Well...I have to say, I really appreciate this discussion....you are all great.

And although I completely agree with Trent´s
long comment (wonderful) ...for me it´s absolutely okay if people say "crap"....as long as they are passionate, it still feels alright.
We know that we can´t please everybody (most of the times not even ourselves) all the time.
And isn´t it quiet obvious, that some songs are better than others...and that people have different tastes?
Passion, is what music is about!

well..i have to admit that i say that stuff like britney spears is shit..but i always tell why..and thats my point about the comment..you cant say that you dont like anything if you cant give it a sensable reason from your own heart and mind.

I accept that person if he says:

I hate AP, BECAUSE....

But if he don´t explain why, then what is the neccasary of writing that?
