hello to everybody i was also on the tipi anniversery and i think that was the best liveshow ever. everybody talking about a new dvd from the tipi event but i think they gonna do a new album first beacause of all the new songs. i wonder if someone out there know anything about a new album, when its going to be released. in the beginging of this year,didnt they say that there plans was to release a new album,a book and a dvd,please are there any who know something please let me know.

According to Alphaville, a new album is planned for release spring 2005. (but you never know with AV)

That would be perfect, to have it in less then a year....
but its so hard to believe, concidering the AV TIME syndrom [wink]

Well, as i haven't been to this perfomance... I want a DVD first.. But new album.. Hmm, it is difficult to choose, really.

The new songs sounded even better at the Berlin show .... I am really looking forward to the new album (2005? 2006 or 2007 seems more likely...) And a DVD.....hoping for the best [wink].

Poul, AV fans ARE patient. They know about AV time.

Basically: The more elaborate the songs will be the better.
Even if it´s 2007 when we´ll say: No filler - all killer!

I think it will be about a year from now. More or less.

When Marian say the album is planned for release in autumn 2005 I guess he's thinking October/November. Knowing that all Alphaville-releases always are late my guess is that we will have album in the beginning of 2006....but we will be a lot wiser in a year and a bit from now!

As for the DVD that they are also working on I have a feeling it might be a mix of musicvideos and liveperformances. Instead of releasing a DVD from Tipi and a DVD of musicvideos they release a DVD of musicvideos + maybe the unplugged session from Tipi......this is in my opinion a very likely outcome! But it's only me guessing.....

anyway, think its pretty sure that someday they will release something from the TIPI, otherwise - why all the recording equipment that was there...?

so if he is working with the musical and the new album amd not mutch liveshows i think its going to be real quite from alphaville for some time now. hope they can put out some of the new song on their homepage so we all can be remembered from berlinparty. about the dvd they could make it turnible so the new album on one side and the hole tipievent +extra material on the other side. maybe im dreaming

The show at Tipi wasn't recorded by AV as far as I know. But that maybe isn't a problem...
