Yes, effects are amazing... but look totally artificial! They are so unreal! Even 'Final Fantasy' looked more realistic. Not to mention 'The Lord Of The Rings'.

On episode I the battle droids looked very realistic, that's why their battle with gungans was so breathtaking. And in episode II we're going to have another computer animation. Very well done, though. But still without aspiration to imitate reality.

Never mind - it didn't change the fact that I'm gonna watch it MANY times and gonna love it, no matter how shitty it would be <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Oh my God - this Star Wars movie is the best so far ! Awesome effects, much more mature dialog and acting, you get to know the characters much better - a great movie experience, Star Wars fan or not, it doesn´t matter - this movie is fantastic !!!!!!

@Avil: I couldn´t agree more!! YODA RULES!!!! But it was also very funny to watch him in "action" <img src=icon_smile_clown.gif border=0 align=middle>

I think I´ll have to go watch the movie one more time soon....there´s just so much in it that I have problems getting it all to sink in the first time (maybe I´m getting old?). I thought I was going to see a Star Wars movie with VERY MUCH action, but instead I watched the (for me) best plot so far in a Star Wars movie. There was action too, but not more than in any of the other SW movies.

Yeah. This movie really rocks!!! I've seen it 3 times now! There are so many cool scenes in this movie, i can't believe it. The yoda scene is great. So is the speeder chase scene, the arena scene and off course the attack of the clones scene is amazing!!!

However my absolute favorite scene is the one where Anakin gets pissed!!! i won't reveal it here, for those of you who havent seen it yet. GO SEE IT!!!

I mean, in the first movie it seems like Anakin is the evil one, and in the last "new movie" I saw, anakin is still a young man and on the good side. I didn´t really know that the first three movies happens after the three newer movies.

btw... I have my old versions of Star Wars (4-6) and I'm quite used to them. And when one Russian TV channel was showing them recently I decided not watch them - it's too much commerial breaks. After my father watched Ep. IV he said that it seemed to him to be renewed. So on the fifth I joined him for some minutes and noticed that the copy is indeed in better quality than the one I had and with new Russian dubbing. But I dropped my jaw on the floor when I came to see the last minutes of 6th Episode and saw there Hayden Christensen instead of the actor who was there before as Anakin joining Joda and Obi-Wan after his death. Why I didn't know about it? [laugh]

What really freaked me out was that last week at work, talking to a coleague, she told me that she hasn't seen any of the Star Wars films. Could it be possible??? But nothingo compared to the shock it produced me to hear that she has never seen Matrix or Lord of the rings. Isn't it incredible??? I mean, come on, get updated!!!

The only thing I didn't really like was the casting. Some of the actors are not suited for their roles. Well, at least if you compare it to the actors in episode 4-6 (Harrison Ford, Alec Guiness etc.)

It is a great film. I was elctrified everytime that I could recognize scenarios, spaceships, musics, from Episode 4. I saw the Millenary Falcon passong by almost at the beginning of the film, when they arrive back after the first big fight!!! This may be one of those "to freaks" things that directors like to do. Anyway, the transformation into Darth Vader is too much. 28 years, 28, have we been wondering how it was, why he was wearing all that stuff, what the hell happened there. Now we got the answers.
Only a few thoughts, no critics:
-Why Leia is a princess in Episode 4, if her adoptive father is only a Senator?
-Why didn´t they change the family name to Luke? If they hided him from Vader, it would have helped not to call him Luke SKYWALKER!!! Am I the only one thinking about this?

See, im not a fan at all... of course i LOVED the original movie and a few years ago i even saw episode I but didnt like it at all...
So i guess its just not my type but im quite interested about that Vader thing.

- Well, we don't know what exactly was happening next years. Maybe her adoptive father was crowned king on his planet or something.
- Luke was sent to his relatives. And they were already called Skywalkers, aren't they? So Skywalker among Skywalkers is quite natural. Still they could pretend he was their son not nephew.
Actually there are some questions in my mind too. But it's been a while since I last saw episodes 4-6 and 1-2 and don't remember everything well I won't ask them. [smile2]

He wanted to save Padme from death that he foreseen and was seduced by the dark side of the force. He thought it would give him extra powers to do that. That's from the inside.
And from the outside - it has to be seen how he got all crippled.
