Going to the cinema, watching a movie with someone you really like or a good company must be one of the best things u can do!

Tonight I will go to the movies and watch Lord of the ring with some boys from my class... No girl was interested...*mutters*
Well well, I think I will enjoy the movie anyway. Gotta buy lots of candy!!!!

man, I've been thinking about reading the book so many times, but never done it because I've got so much to read ...
...I really wanna see the movie, but, kinda I'd like to read the books first, but, if I read the books first, I'll probably be dissapointed at the movie, as usually movies based on books aren't as good as the books, but again, if I see the movie first, I lose something essential while reading the book, as the events and the environment are already visualized in the movie, and I can't use my own imagination to build a small world in my head while reading, GAAH, confusing...any helping ideas??

Well now Iīm back. I read the first book on a trainjourney, and itīs very good indeed.
The movie is very good itself, but I think that u should read the first book before u see the movie, or else u wont understand much of it.

My friends went to see it yesterday. I couldnīt come cause I had no money .
But Iīm going back to Stockholm to day and then I`m GOING to watch it. Believe me. My friends came home last night with this euphoric look upon their faces. "Amazing" pretty much summs up what they thought of the film.

Merry X-mas to all of you!!

I have already seen it twice. It's a true classic. One of the best movies I have ever seen. I was thrilled. I was scared, and I was moved to tears. This is moviemaking at it's perfection.

My favorite book's are becoming my favorite movies!

Acctually one of the guys I was there with told us that he got scared in one part of the movie, and he usually donīt!
It was in the part when Bilbo becomes a monster for like two seconds.
I almost started to cry in the end!!!

ah yes! going to the movies is a favorite thing for me and my wife to do.

Once when watching The Mummy.... I handed her a junior mint (candy) and she thought it was a scarab beetle from the movie! She screamed and threw it on the floor!

We had a good laugh after the movie about that!!

The Blaster..*LOL* neat translation, but correct..never seen the movie though..

I myself can't wait until Monsters Inc. starts showing on cinemas here in Sweden..I'm really looking forward to it.
LotR again tomorrow (well, today really, but hey, who cares?) after "pulkaåkning" hmm..what's the translation for that..hang on..hmm..after riding 'Laplander's sledge(?)' with a bunch of friends.. This time I can totally focus on how great the movie really is..

I just saw The Lord of the Rings today, and I gotta say that it was great!.. it was much better than I thought, and I can't wait til I get to read the book too...I have thought about reading it many times, but I've had so many other books I wanted to read as well, that I just haven't done it...but I recommend the movie for everyone, exept maybe for the little sensitive ones, it gets a little rough in some parts...

Just came back from seeing LotR for the second time, and it was 1000 times better then the first time!

During the first time, I couldn't help but to think "But, this isn't how it should be", this time I knew what was going to happen and could focus on absorbing the greatness of the movie. I can't wait until I can see The Two Towers two times, as I'm sure history will repeat itself, as it has many times before.

Something I've noticed though, is that there was much more respect for the movie on the premiere. Everyone was within the spirit of the film, and noone scewed up the mood.

Hail Peter Jackson and the Fellowship of the Ring!

I just got back from the cinema, watching "The Two Towers". This film is incredible! Everything is great about it. The adventure. The emotion. The humor and the amazing action. This film has the greatest action I have ever seen on film!

It's much bigger than Fellowship of the ring. There something happening from the first minute, unlike Fellowhip which had to introduce the charachers first and set up the story. The effects are amazing too. Gollum is probably the best CGI character on film to date. His facial expression are perfect, and he's performed so well. He is really a sad character. I felt sorry for him. I loved Treebeard too. He reminded me of "Rockbider" from "Neverending story". Cool stuff!

There's no bad thing to say about this film. Maybe some will thing it lacks the charm and comfort from the first film, but the story must develop. It has great atmosphere. In the silence before the battles, I was so exited that my heart was pounding fast. It's a much more violent and agressive film, so leave the kids at home...

I was VERY impressed by Gollum. It has to be the most realistic computer-made creature ever. They also managed to give him a personality. It was impossible not to feel sorry for him. I can't give the movie 5 stars though - I don't like all this "Hollywood"-sentimentality and I think there is something in the mood of the movie that differs from the book.

Ghaa!!
I hate when movies have to take ages to travel across the Atlantic Ocean.

Star Trek - Nemesis premiered on Dec 13 in the US.
In Sweden the premier will be on MARCH 28!! EVIL!

All movies should be released like LotR. Gah!

@Pronnmo: I couldnīt agree more!! Itīs very annoying when it takes so long before us Europeans get the chance to see a movie. Btw...Iīm also going to see Nemesis at the cinema when it finally gets to Denmark..

If my memory is failing me I think it shows a day or two earlier in Denmark than in Sweden. My internet is bugging so I can't verify this atm though..

Go see Das Experiment if it is around. (though come to think about it if it has run here , it has already run in europe) Oh well, rent it!! It is really good, it keeps you on the edge of your seat. It was one of the nicest surprises this year. (as in I didn't know what to expect and got a great film) It is done by the same director who did Run Lola Run.

Also see The Pianist! Fantastic movie. The ending provides a stark finish and reveals the ultimate message..

And last but not least see Spider! It is a new movie by David Cronenberg. It has Ralph Fiennes in it. And well Ralph is a fantasic actor. :) It is about a schizophremic man who goes back to examine his dark past.. I would really recommend reading the book first too. The novels of Patrick McGrath are really good. They are dark reading but very good. A lot of his novels will be now made into movies since he's been discovered. I am so glad I found out about him! Pick up Spider or Dr. Haggard's Disease - two excellent books! If you want to see the webpage for the movie, it is www.spiderthemovie.com.

The Matrix Reloaded is truly magnificent, and it gets even better if you've watched The Animatrix before, and I assume it would come to its fullest if you play the game aswell.
The only thing they could have done better was to have had a Return of the King-trailer before the film ^_^
