Oh my God, that is a really hard question....

There are so many songs I like, but I decided to write only the songs I listen to every time I hear them and not the current German single charts songs.......

1. Depeche Mode - A Question Of Lust
2. It's a sin - Pet Shop Boys
3. Go West - Pet Shop Boys
4. Stay on these roads - A-HA

And now some songs that remind me of somebody :

1. Sex Bomb - Tom Jones
2. I'd do anything for love (but I won't do that) - Meat Loaf
3. All songs from the album 'coast to coast' by Westlife
4. YOU COMPLETE ME - Bastiaan Ragas

... it goes on and on but I just can't remember all songs....

@Alien: You said Paul McCartney "Hope of Deliverance" That is an excellent choice...I saw Paul in 1991...It was a most excellent concert..It was probably his last concert...or so the rumour says..You never know...But I had a blast at that concert and will never forget it...another great song from "Off The Ground" cd Is "Biker Like an Icon"..Very catchy tune..The whole cd is excellent of course and the "Flaming Pie" cd I fell in love with...I've always been a huge McCartney fan..he is just marvelous

This is where I reply and everyone goes what?

I love folk rock, so anything by the Levellers, Stolen Child by the Waterboys, and a local (Derbyshire) band, Loscoe State Opera. Also a Scottish band The Iron Horse.

At the moment I like K's choice and their song Elegia and when I'm in the mood for something loud, then "Op de Wiesse Ling" and it's sequel by Brings, a band from Cologne.

I can never choose one song, and it's just the same with Alphaville.

Theres so many great songs,so hard to choose but theres a few obvious ones which are:-
Sparks - anything by them especially 'Beat The Clock'
New Order - Sub-Culture
Grandaddy - He's Simple,Hes Dumb,He's The Pilot
Bright Eyes - The Center Of The World
The Flaming Lips - Feeling Yourself Disintegrate
I Start Counting - Cranley Gardens
and loads more.
Nice one to Clare for giving the Levellers a mention, they're from my home town and once Mark Chadwick strolled in to a pub where i was djing,it was a bit spooky as i had played 'Battle Of The Beanfield' just 10 minutes before,(best Harry Hill voice and collars) ''what are the chances...''

Pet shop boys: we will never be boring(im not so sure anout the trach name)
Pet shot boys: western girls
Pet shop boys: its a sin
laura brannigan: you take my selfcontrol
fine young cannibals: you drive me crazy
madonna: get into the groove
sandra:marian magdalena
duran duran:girls on film

@Defender: I´m so glad to see that "Whale song" is among your favourite "non-AV-songs". It surely is among mine too!!!

The titles of the songs you mention are:
PSB-Being boring
PSB-West End girls
Laura Branigan-Self control
Sandra-Maria Magdalena
Fine Young Cannibals-She drives me crazy
Madonna-Into the groove
(the rest were correct)

These are all great songs although I wouldn´t consider "Being boring" as one of my favourite PSB songs....there´s so many great songs from them!!!

But if you want to know the titles of some songs from the 80´s just ask me.....I´m an 80´s freak, so there´s a chance I know the title of the song if you know some of the lyrics of it.

@Poul:thank you for correcting my mistakes.all times ive danced to those songs, ive been too crazy to remember the correct titles
PSB's being broring song is a fave because its so calm and good to dance too.it brings a kind of free feeling into me everytime i hear it..aswell as the where they sing "lets come together, right now, in a sweet harmony"
that one's a fave too which i forgot to add.

I'm just a shadow-You are the light
