The title says it all.

My recent most embarrasing CDs must be: Boyzone "Baby can I Hold You" and Take That "Back for Good".

I actually like those songs...oh well.

I don´t buy too many CDs anymore of 2 reasons. I don´t like much of todays music and I don´t have money to buy them. But earlier I bought a LOT of CDs and also a couple that I´ve regretted buying. Here´s a few of them:

All-4-One (from 1994): "I swear" is ok, but the rest..
Crash Test Dummies: God shuffled his feet
East 17: Walthamstow
Largo: Largo
Def Leppard: Slang

And Willy...I like those songs too. I have Take That greatest hits CD and it´s not bad. I don´t care what other people say. If I like a song I like it regardless who made it, like "When doves cry" by Prince.

Recently i also cleared up my CD collection. I had a lot of shit amongst my CD's that I never heard anyway. Stuff i used to like, but no more. I think i threw more than 20 CD's away. It was a great feeling. I want my collection to be pure good stuff.

Recently someone gave me a CD of an old Argentine singer and I remembered this topic... time to gather up courage to post my embarrassing CD's:

Raphael -- Two hits collections (cheers, Elena!) [smile2]
Sandro de América (that Argentine singer) -- Hit collection
O-Zone -- DiscO-Zone
Tarkan -- Hit collection issued for Latin America

It's on tape but (and I can hardly say it [ashame]) but I have one by Glenn Medeiros, of the 'Nothing's Gonna Change My Love For You' fame - cringe cringe cringe, and also Milli Vanilli (they were found out to be fakes weren't they)[ashame][ashame][ashame]

Beat that! [dissapp][dissapp][dissapp] And pleae don't hold these dreadful musical mistakes against me..... I was a lot younger then......

You are so right Babble. The tension between the innocent Barbie and the rogue Ken is very funny and acted with such fun and good humor. Not unlike real life. I love it when her arm comes off and he motions to her with it. OMG it is hilarious.

Now I know why I liked this so much - it is funny and "danceable"! Especially when we girls would go out for the evening and between the band's sets we would all sing it. You had to be there to appreciate the moment. LOL

Last friday I was with a couple of friends having some wine and listening to music. I had brought
various vinyl treasures, not everything been taken too seriously. Two records probably only will be
known to Richani, if even, Krapplund (who mentioned their booze song Sieben Tage lang a couple of
times) and *ariAna* I think.
I'm talking on the Dutch band bots, who are a symbol of the peace movement of the early 80s, late
70s. So their lyrics are pretty typical for that time and scene, interestingly enough mainly written by
several German cabaret artist like Dieter Hildebrandt, Hanns Dieter Hüsch, Henning Venske etc.
So you see, it's really not any cool to listen to them, but their Dutch charme, including a strange
and certainly more relaxed way makes it bearable, musically it's even really not unfunky rock,
well played.... Really tough stuff if you like curios.

I'd say my pick in this category is the "TMNT III" movie soundtrack. It was the only way, at the time, I could find that "Tarzan Boy" song on CD, and there are two versions, the other a '93 remix.

There's a song by ZZ Top in there that's pretty good, too.

Everything else in there is pretty lame, but for only $3 US, I can't really complain.
