Just listened to this today for the first time in ages. I am surprised as how much better the new mixes are, especially Victory of Love & Dance With Me.

Exactly! I love the mastering on Dance With Me. It's more punchy, and "pushed in". Hard to describe. As for VOL, I love the lively drums. That, and the SLAM mix blows the original out of the water.

I got to love it the moment I first heard how Sounds Like a Melody was mixed. Snare replacing synth drums...among other things.

Well, to be honest, the SLAM version found on there has a better, more polished vocal track as well. It's more "professional" sounding.
