...which is strange, because the UK are and have been a second home for AV (Eden Studios, Metropolis Studios, The Stone Room, Angel Studios, Whitfield Studios)...

They like the UK for recording but it's always been a challenge to find the right terms for a live concert. Promoters were interested but whether they were prepared to offer the type of venues that fans will go to and are suitable for the band to play at while paying enough to make the logistics work... it didn't happen but fans contacted lots of places.
