By request of my friend Russ, here's the first sample of 'Inside Out' maxi-CD.

Its based on Salvation (Navigator release).

wow...... at first I didn't like it, but the more I looked at it the more I thought that this really could have been what this single would have looked like had it actually happened.....

too bad it didn't, but this is a great one to dream about! Good job Valdemar!!!!

FallenAngel - Yes, I have all these versions.

'Album version' (Salvation) and 'Live from Salt Lake City, 1999' (Little America DVD) are the only official released versions of those. 'Neurosensory Remix' (A Different Mix volume 3) and 'Lost Single Mix' (A Different Mix volume 5) has been released on compilation albums. 'From Darkness To Darkness Mix' was released with some adjustments on Crazyshow as 'Thou Shalt Not Remix'. The 'Wide Asleep Mix' was released on a website in the member's only section by the remixer. The others were submited for the single release but as you know they never released the single...

Valdemar,

These remixes were done by other bands at the request of Todd at A Different Drum. AV was at one time thinking about doing an Inside Out single after the release of Salvation in the USA and at the time AV was using A Different Drum to help distribute the new album as well as Dreamscapes and another single (Soul Messiah) so Todd (because he is a record label too) went to some of the synth bands that he has on his label and made the request (with Alphaville's approval) to make remixes for Marian's consideration to be on the single. Well, the remixes were made and all (except Wide Asleep Mix) were actually submitted to AV but for whatever reason, the Inside Out single was never realized.

Tommie explained where each of the songs came from very well - what I thought was funny was that the Wide Asleep mix is probably my favorite and the maker of the track was too embarrassed to submit it to AV as he thought it was not good enough.......

so, no, these are not DJ remixes, nor are they remixes by Alphaville, but they are remixes that Alphaville knows about - and most of them have since been released in one form or another.
