New Advanced Chat ! [Archive] - Alphaville Forum

Hi,

We are at the final testing stage for the completely new chatroom, which in every respect is much better than the existing one (much faster and more reliable).

Among the many features are:

No visible refresh

New smileys

Private messages

Easy creation, jumping and changing of rooms

Private rooms, users can be invited

User profiles (you can change your chatcolor for example)

And much more...

Expect this to be online in a few days - of course in the New Horizons colors and style.

Yeah, we spent all night adding smileys to the chat.

Adi, change the colors.

Clare, use safe mode - sometimes that helps if you´re behind a proxy server.

Users are not integrated with this forum (the chat script is a completely different application and tecnology, so that´s not possible), but you don´t need to register to use the chat !

I've tried the chat last night with Trent and i was finally able to see what i wrote but.....it took years till i could read it !!!!!!

Well, if you are on a stable connection and don´t have any problems, just login. If you have problems use "Safe mode".
