dreamscapes 9 postponed

Got this message from Claudia from MOONBase

"dreamscapes 9 will be arranged and produced by alphaville. unfortunately the release had to be postponed, because all attention is now focused on the MIRACLE HEALING TOUR. possibly the CD will be available in the shops, maybe not."

I certainly found this bad news, I was really looking forward to DS 9, because of the mysterious second CD.

Postponed? What does this mean? A month? Three months? A year? Yeah, this is really the worst thing about Alphaville – every release gets delayed.
The tour is actually named after the DS9 project, so how can they not release DS9 at the same time.

I'm also still waiting for the Little America VHS and the re-release of Dreamscapes 1-8.

Well, well...waiting is a virtue...

You wouldn't believe it, but it makes me feel much better knowing that release is postponed... I spent my last money some days ago... so it would be good if I save some again before DS9 released...

But in general, there's nothing surprising... It's just AV!

I don't know what is meant by postponed. It first was planned as a spring release. Let's hope is for late spring or begin summer!

Well, its not like there was an actual release date in first place so....no expectations - no dissapointments <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>
But i sure hope they will release it in the next few months cause HOW LONGER CAN WE WAIT ?!?
This project began about a year and a half ago....
Just dont think im complaining or something.....
We are more than lucky to have such a gift from AV ! :)

Well, I´m not surprised, dissapointed or anything like that - this happen while they can, and AV supports this 100% - we will get the CD eventually.

well, this sucks.... but as long as they still release it, I don't mind waiting. Its the waiting for something that is never released that completely bites!!!

However, as you have all alluded to..... what did we expect..... that AV would release it EARLY??? LOL!!

It will never be cancelled, there is no reason for it, I mean all songs are there...
But I wonder what takes the time? The new/extra songs maybe?

it must be. 14 songs is really one cd, so if there is 2 cds then they are doubling the output from what we already know exists..... hmmmmm, can't wait to hear the rest of it!!

maybe some more demos that didn't make it to the website.... for instance, when they released zoo Marian was struggling with a song called the breathtaking blue.... wonder whatever happened to that song??

Dont forget that DS9 is a double album and we still dont know all the songs....
Also, there is the new studio album....
